Borrowing their name from 18th century English sporting and wildlife artists, Mr. George Stubbs and Mr. John Wootton, Stubbs & Wootton produce bespoke and ready-to-wear luxury slippers that celebrate a lifestyle that surpasses elegance. Considered vanguards in the renaissance of the iconic slipper, Stubbs & Wootton launched in 1993 in Palm Beach, Florida offering classically elegant yet spunky slippers that instantly caught the attention of many! Handmade in Europe, Stubbs & Wootton offer their classic slipper in needlepoint, leather, raffia, natural straw and velvet, most of which feature embroidered details that can range from classic to slightly rakish and sometimes even sassy! No matter the embroidered gesture, the Stubbs & Wootton slipper is a timeless classic, and The House of Scalamandré knows a thing or two about that!
